Alexis Perry Addison

Masters Student

Alexis Perry Addison earned her Master of Public Administration with honors at North Carolina State University’s School of Public and International Affairs in December 2020. She also holds a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University and a BS in Nutrition Science from North Carolina State University. As an undergraduate student, she was the captain of the NC State University Women’s Track and Field team, and competed professionally in the U.S. and Caribbean prior to enrolling in the MPA program in 2019. During her time in the MPA program, Alexis worked as a Data Management Consultant with Wake County, co-authored a fund development portfolio for the North Carolina Dental Society Foundation, and conducted a program evaluation of the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants Endowment. Currently, Alexis works as a Business Operations Manager for a nonprofit in Durham, NC, managing their financials. Her primary research interest includes performance and program evaluation. When she is not working or assisting Dr. Coupet with research projects, she enjoys trying new restaurants with her husband, playing with her rescue dog, Buddy, and indoor cycling.
